This wagon is in pretty good shape for its age - although suffering from having no garage to live in ...
It currently needs mechanical work to the engine and front end - some bodywork and a paint job may follow as funds allow.
It is a 4 cylinder model - with the infamous "Starfire" or "PoS" motor - they look like a Holden 6 with the rear two cylinders cut off - actually, that's pretty much exactly what they are.
Produced mostly for the New Zealand market, the idea was that the four would be more economical but this turned out to be a moot point as the smaller engine had to be worked much harder, especially when hooked up to the Trimatic "slush box" as this one is. Still, this one has the Weber carb conversion which helps, and it is good to see a reasonably original vehicle of this vintage getting around. In NZ, there were probably as many (or more?) of the 4 cyl ones sold as there were sixes, but the four is now probably rarer.
